Boulder City Elections Department

Welcome! This is the official home page and guide for election information in Boulder City!

Boulder City had the Mayor and two City Council seats up for election in its 2011 Municipal Election.  During the Primary Election, Mayor Roger Tobler, Peggy Leavitt, and Rodney Woodbury received votes equal to a majority of voters casting ballots in the race for Mayor and City Council respectively, and are considered elected.  They will be sworn in at the June 28, 2011, regular meeting of the City Council.  No candidates will appear on the 2011 General Election ballot; however, Boulder City will have six (6) ballot questions.  Please see the Ballot Question page for the full questions including rebuttals and arguments.

These election information pages contain timely and useful information with a Spanish translation portion of the site. For our residents who wish to receive voter-related information in Spanish, please see the "En Espanol" links under the appropriate headings.

I hope each Boulder City resident exercises his/her right to vote and to participate in the democratic process. Our community's foundation is based on citizen input, and voter participation is a reflection of the pride we all share in participating in our community's future.

I welcome any comments you may have regarding this site or any questions you may have regarding the election process. You may contact me by phone at (702) 293-9208 or by E-mail.
