Boulder City Recycling
Recycled materials are picked up from residents every Wednesday. Recyclables need to be out to the curb before 7 am on recycle day, or put out the night before after 5PM. Blue recycle bins can be picked up at Boulder City Disposal. If you still can't locate one, please contact Boulder City Disposal at 293-2276.
What can be put in the blue or green bins?
Paper
Containers
Newspaper (with inserts)
Magazines / Catalogs
Junk mail (remove free samples)
White & colored paper/brown bags
Telephone books/paperback books
Flattened bin board (e.g. cereal boxes)
Milk cartons - flattened
Flattened corrugated cardboard
Glass bottles/jars. Labels may stay.
Tin & aluminum food and soda cans, aluminum foil, pie plates, jar lids. Labels may stay.
All plastic containers - Caps & lid may stay.
Juice & soy milk boxes.
Rinse all containers
Plastic bottles with a 1 or 2 recycle number only.
What can not be put in the blue or green bins?
Paper
Containers
No soiled paper or soiled cardboard.
Please do not put paper in plastic bags.
No pizza boxes.
No waxed cardboard.
No broken glass or light bulbs, dishes, Pyrex, ceramic, window or auto glass. No CFL's.
