Welcome to Boulder City Parks and Recreation
 
Mission Statement:  To provide high-quality and cost effective recreation activities for all residents of Boulder City.  These programmed activities include workshops, labs, tournaments, camps and classes, as well as activities in aquatics, arts, golf, sports and special events.  We are striving to meet the community's recreational needs in all phases of our operation.

Q:  What time do you have Open Gym?
A:  Monday - Thursday: 2:30 - 8:00pm / Friday 2:30-6:00pm / Sat&Sun 1:00-5:00pm
Gym hours may vary according to scheduled team sports, daily changes are posted at the main office.
 
Q:  How do I reserve an area of a park or facility for parties and other events?
A:  Please call or stop by our office to check the availability of the park you are interested in, if it is available you will need to complete a Facility Use Application and submit this with the appropriate fees to our main office. 
 
Q:  How do I find out what classes you are currently offering?
A:  Our brochures are updated two times a year; Fall/Winter beginning in September and Spring Summer beginning in March. Brochures are available at the Parks and Recreation Office, 900 Arizona Street.  Brochures can also be picked up at BCTV, Boulder City Chamber of Commerce, the Library, and the Senior Center.  The full brochure is also available on-line.
 
Q:  Is there a summer program for Kids?
A:  We offer Summer Parks at our Recreation Center.  Kids from Kingergarten through 7th Grade are welcome to join in on the fun!  We offer games, crafts, organized games, field trips and much more!  Stop by the Rec Center for more info!  
 
Q:  When is the water on at Veterans' Memorial Splash Park?
A:  May - October
 
Q: How can I get a memorial bench in one of Boulder City parks?
A: You can purchase a memorial bench or tree through the parks and recreation department.  
          
Q:  Where can I skateboard in Boulder City?
A:  Veterans' Memorial Park has a designated skateboard area with ramps, jumps and rails.
